The concert after party was held at Darrell’s soul food restaurant in its huge banquet room. Only the performers, their friends, GMC members and people cool with the GMC were allowed to enter. Sherrice was in utter shock to be standing elbow to elbow in a room full of stars. She had chatted earlier with Common about his role in the movie “Smokin’ Aces.” Now she was on the other side of the room talking to Keyshia Cole about her so called beef with Fantasia.

Darrell was in the back of the room talking with Kanye about old times. The Young Riders were nearby trying to soak up every word. Terry had snuck off to the meeting room in the back and was currently fucking his date on top of the table. Loco and Jay had ditched their dates for the night and were currently trying to go back

to the hotel with two of Keyshia’s back up dancers.

Lashay, on the other hand, was at home passed out on the bathroom floor. She lay there after vomiting into the toilet for the third time. Darrell had the limo driver take her home from the after party after she had embarrassed herself enough for the night. Apparently, she had tried to fight two members of Kanye’s posse after they received blowjobs from her in the restaurant bathroom and laughed at her when she drunkenly asked them to pay her for her services.

The after party didn’t wind down until around six in the morning. The only people left in the restaurant were Sherrice, Darrell and the clean up staff. Sherrice was seated at one of the tables going over the photos she had taken with Darrell’s digital camera. She couldn’t wait to upload them to her MySpace page. No one was going to believe the night she had.

Darrell sat with his arm around her shoulders smoking a blunt. The night had gone well from a business and personal standpoint. Kanye had told him to call his lawyers next week about getting The Young Riders signed to his label. If everything went according to plan this would be the first step in getting the GMC branched out into the music community. In another year or two he could probably start up his own label like Suge Knight or Irv Gotti.

“I’m about to go over to the Ramada, did you want me to drop you off at home?” Darrell usually stayed in the penthouse suite on the weekends so he could get away from everything. The view from the tallest building in the city was breathtaking.

“Can I come with you? I don’t feel like going home just yet.” Sherrice knew Lashay was at home fucked up and she didn’t want to deal with her.

“It’s all good with me.”

Darrell stood up and escorted Sherrice out the back-door of the restaurant. His Benz was parked in the alley behind the building. He clicked off his alarm and opened the passenger side door for her. Once he got in they took off for the Ramada Inn a few streets over.
